Whitehurst chosen for seminar
Congratulations to Katie Whitehurst on receiving the nomination to attend the Northern Illinois Leadership Seminar. Congratulations also to Kathleen English who was selected as the alternate. Katie will be attending a seminar for three days in June at North Park University and will be there with sophomores across the state.
The Antioch Woman’s Club is sponsoring Katie and the seminar is affiliated with TRAIL (Teaching Responsibility and Inspiring Leadership). The program allows students to interact with leaders in industry, government, the arts, education and other occupations. This year’s freshmen can be eligible for this seminar next year.
