Vote for scarecrow contest winner at dance
Eleven advisories, clubs, and other groups signed up to compete in the scarecrow contest sponsored by Snowball Club.
The scarecrows were on display during the Harvest Dance on Nov. 18, at which time student attendees voted on their favorite.
This year's winner was Napoleon Dynamite.
Participants were provided with a beige canvas sack for the scarecrow’s head. They supplied the rest of the materials necessary to bring their idea to life. The winner of the contest received a free pizza party.
Among the other scarecrows created were a chef and Brian Beula, a member of the LCHS maintenance staff.
