Lakes
High School invaded by scarecrows
 On
November 19 Lakes held its Harvest Dance. The Snowball club was asked to
decorate. The students in the club decided to do a Scarecrow Contest as
part of their decorating scheme.
Advisories and study
halls were invited to make a scarecrow for the competition. Mr. Ribbens’
Advisory won a pizza party for the most imaginative student scarecrow.
The staff also was
invited to make scarecrows for the competition. Staff competed for the coveted
Lakes Scarecrow Championship Trophy which went to the Administrative Team
for their ‘Mr. Bode’ scarecrow.
Great fun was had
by all who participated and the result was a room full of creativity!
