Schedule distribution days set; counselor assignments change
All students are encouraged to pick up their 2006-2007 class schedules and, if necessary, meet with a guidance counselor for last minute changes during schedule distribution days. Schedules will not be mailed home. Counselors will be available at LCHS the following days and times: Monday, Aug. 14, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Tuesday, Aug. 15, 12 - 6 p.m.; Wednesday, Aug. 16, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Incoming freshmen and new students will receive their student identification cards and locker information during those times.
Students also should note changes to some counselor assignments for the upcoming school year. Reassignments were necessary to accommodate the increase in enrollment and an addition to the counseling staff. Incoming seniors were not reassigned. Click here to view the new assignments.
Incoming freshmen will be back in the building again on Aug. 17 from 8 - 11 a.m. for orientation. They will have the opportunity to find their classrooms and lockers and get some of their questions about high school answered.
The first day of class is Aug. 21, at which time students will receive their handbooks and sophomores through seniors will receive new identification cards.
