Learning about the different types of automobile insurance generally isn't the most exciting lesson to teach or learn about in Learning Resource Management class. So, LRM teacher Michelle McNece teamed up with theater teacher Bridget Sundin to add some entertainment to the unit.
Sundin's Studio Theater class spent one period creating seven mini-skits, one to represent and explain each of the seven types of auto insurance. The students performed their humorous skits for McNece's class on March 10. McNece said she believes the skits will help her students differentiate between the insurance options.
One skit mocked the Eagle Man commercials. Others depicted various car wreck scenarios, including one in which a student acting as on old man crossing the street rolls over the hood of a car after being struck by a distracted driver. |
