Pep rally, bonfire set tone for Homecoming
 The Junior Class won a tug-of-war competition, and the varsity football captains smashed a piñata in the end zone on Sept. 28 during an evening pep rally, followed by a bonfire.
The event was one of many scheduled for "A Night in New Orleans" Homecoming, which ended Sept. 30 with the semi-formal dance.
Also during the pep rally, athletic team captains introduced their teams, the dance and cheerleading squads performed, and Studio II class members put on a humorous skit in which the Eagles' varsity football team defeated the North Chicago Warhawks.
