The fall play Noises Off opens Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium and guarantees a lot of laughs.
A contemporary British comedy written by Michael Frayn, the play-within-a-play production focuses on a cast trying to deal with the drama going on behind the scenes right before opening night. Actors are forgetting their lines, experiencing wardrobe malfunctions and fighting about romances going on off stage.
Audience members will experience both on- and off-stage happenings with the help of a rotational set.
Auditions for the play took place last spring, and the nine cast members have been studying their scripts since the summer months. Additionally, about 25 students are part of the play's crew.
Other performances are scheduled for Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 4 at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased during lunch hours or at the door for $3 for students and $5 for nonstudents. |
