FCCLA brings home two 'most outstanding' awards

FCCLA members returned from regional competition on Feb. 16 with 17 awards for their work in various family and consumer sciences areas.
Among the awards were two most outstanding winners: sophomore Sam Timmis for the salad-culinary event and senior Jane Miller for the interior design event.
Other student participants who accompanied club sponsors Karen Schneider and Jaclynn Gahler at regionals included Brooke DeRose, Amber Selzer, Cassie Lawrence, Davalyn Stepzinski, Mary Gumler, Kam Hochbaum, Christina Goldman, Cecelia Koman, Maggie Roberts, Erika Alto, Amanda Kraenzle, Chelsea Mayers, Shannah Kluetz, Kelsey Whitaker and Suzanne Krajca.
Each earned a first or second rating in the areas of cookie decorating, salads, apparel, child care provider, professional image or interior design. |
