Students accept Antioch Rotary Club Scholarships during Honors Night on May 21.

First Honors Night recognizes students
 More than 100 awards were presented to high-achieving students, primarily seniors, during the first Honors Night on May 21. Those honored collected a combined total of about $45,000 in scholarship money for academics, athletics and participation in other various activities. Local organizations, LCHS, as well as colleges and universities made those awards available for recipients.
Other students were recognized for their perfect attendance or substantial involvement in a school organization throughout their high school careers.
Sophomore Octavia Morton and junior Nick Thackston were the Masters of Ceremony. The Chamber Choir sang two selections aCappella, and the evening concluded with a viewing of the 2007 senior slideshow.
