 The Illinois Student Assistance Commission named 33 seniors Illinois State Scholars. The students earned the recognition for scoring high on national and state standardized tests and for maintaining a class rank and grade point average at the top of their graduating class.
Although students do not receive financial awards for their distinction, the honor can assist in obtaining scholarships. The 33 also will be recognized at the Honors Program in May.
