Preschool class finishes session with holiday treats
Preschool students made chocolate-covered pretzels during their holiday party on Dec. 17.
Many high school students are wishing they were still in preschool this week. That's because while they are taking finals, the children enrolled in the Little Eagles Preschool program down the hall are visiting with Santa Claus and making sweet treats to celebrate the year's end.
Karen Schneider's preschool class had a party on Monday, Dec. 17 to mark the conclusion of the fall session. Parents were invited to join their children as they made chocolate-covered pretzels; high school students enrolled in the Preschool Child Development classes also assisted in the day's activities, including lining the preschoolers up to have a few words with Santa Claus.
The 17 preschool children came to school from 8:30-11:15 a.m. throughout the week. The spring session begins in March and ends 10 weeks later in May.
