Other contestants included juniors Stephen Banas, Bernie Anderson and B.J. Fuller and seniors Chuck Kempf, Sean Hertz, Kevin Lewis and Isaiah Colon. Each of the contestants performances was judged by a panel of staff members.
The second annual Mr. LCHS event led up to the Feb. 24 Turnabout Dance, which ended a Battle of the Sexes-themed spirit week. In addition to dressing up for spirit days throughout the week, students attended a Battle of the Sexes pep rally on Feb. 23.
The rally featured a Jell-O eating contest, scooter race, male versus female tug-of-war, and a Guy Dance Team. Gymnastics coach Tiffany Magliola and Team Leader Mark Ring represented the girls' and boys' teams, respectively, for a handstand race across the gymnasium. The pep rally also included an introduction to the Mr. LCHS candidates.
The boys came out as the victors of the competition.
