Sophomore Class seeks talented students to perform at third annual Variety Show, Nov. 30
November is a busy month for the Sophomore Class. In addition to running a food drive for the Open Arms Mission this week, class officers and sponsor Melissa Cross are preparing for the third annual Variety Show, scheduled for Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Admission is $5.
The first round of try-outs for the Variety Show were held this week. Another round is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Students and groups who are interested in participating should sign up in the Cranberry Team room.
So far, the list of acts includes soloists, duets and small group performances. Cross says she encourages all singers, dancers, poets, musicians, actors and actresses, and comedians to try-out. Bands, however, need to wait for Battle of the Bands in January to have their chance on stage.
Rehearsals will be on Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon and on Nov. 29 from 6-9 p.m. |
