Guidance Counselor Nicole Repa looks up freshman Peter Bennes' schedule on the first day of class.

The first few days of school went by with few glitches, administrators say. Students made last-minute stops in the Guidance Office to pick up their schedules and in the library to pick up their textbooks on the first day of school before heading to their classes.
The Eagles met with a few changes for this year. For example, due to low usage in the past, the late bus for athletes has been canceled. There still will be a late bus that leaves at 3:50 p.m. for those students who attend club meetings, stay after for tutoring, etc. Students need a pass from a teacher to ride the late bus.
Additionally, daily announcements will be made during lunch periods instead of during second period.
The school calendar also includes more late start days and fewer half days. Click here to view the dates and adjusted bell schedules.
