Checking out for summer
Students traded in their textbooks for beach balls for summer vacation, which officially began June 2. Semester grades will be mailed home by June 5 for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Seniors should have received their report cards with their diploma packets at graduation.
Families are reminded to return registration materials by July 17. Materials either can be dropped off in the main office or mailed to the attention of Debbie Shea. Students received their registration materials at school in mid-May. Some forms also are available for download on the Registration Information page.
Other helpful information: Summer school registration is due June 5. Summer school and summer driver education will take place at ACHS, and summer enrichment will take place both at LCHS and ACHS. Summer office hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. A reminder that next year newsletters and progress reports no longer will be mailed home in an effort to Go Green and save district funds on postage. Only semester grades will be mailed home. Schedule and textbook distribution for 2009-2010 will be held on Aug. 10 and 11 from 3 - 7 p.m. and Aug. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
