Administrators reward students with perfect attendance
Students who come to school every day perform better in their classes. That's why the administrative team has decided to continue its rewards program to offer free ice cream treats to all students with perfect attendance within a progress period.
On Friday, Sept. 24, faculty volunteers as well as administrators, including Principal Steve Plank and Assistant Principal Dave Newberry, passed out ice cream to students who came to school every day during the first progress period.
Recognizing students with high attendance is one of LCHS' Response to Intervention initiatives. Traditionally, juniors and seniors with perfect attendance all school year earn a free ticket to Prom, too. |
