Senior powder-puff exits with long-awaited 'W'
Seniors 8, Juniors 6
Sophomores 14, Freshmen 8

The seniors finally earned a powder-puff victory on a cold, damp Wednesday night, defeating the juniors 8-6 in a nail-biting game. The Class of 2011 had never won a game before, so the win was extra sweet.
The team relied on several key players, including quarterback Debbie Berg, whose precise skills were compared to those of Peyton Manning of the Indiana Colts. Danielle Miller scored the touchdown for the team, and Jasmine Rivera scored the two-point conversion.
The juniors put points on the board after a 50-yard touchdown pass from Bre Falls to Leah Baker.
The Class of 2013 now boasts a 2-0 record after their 14-8 win over the freshman team. Sophomore Kara Morway kept with the Morway family tradition by dodging defensive players to score the team's two touchdowns.
Chynna Ivory scored the freshman touchdown.
The powder-puff games are sponsored by the Sophomore Class. Class sponsors coach each of the teams with the help of other faculty coaches as well as a few male student coaches from each class.
